Youth Communications is presenting it's annual Urban Summer Journalism Workshop! Starting June 14 until June 31st, students will learn everything it takes to be a journalist and the world of communications. In addition to students learning, they will be assigned to write stories in order to develop certain skills require to be the journalist they intend to be.
We will need instructors to conduct lessons for the students. (They will be getting paid also)
We also need interns to help assist through whatever there is to help out with through the entirety of the program. This also gives them a chance to learn about the field of journalism even more (if they have the appropriate amount of experience). This is also a paid position.
We associate with Put Illinois to Work that will pay those 18 and over $10 per hour for participating in our program
Program Orientation is June 14 from 2pm-6pm
